1. Data Storage (Local Only)
Lumie stores your health and intimacy logs locally on your device. We do not operate a cloud backend for your personal logs, and we do not transmit those logs to our servers.
2. What Data Lumie Uses
Lumie uses data you enter, including cycle information, symptoms, intimacy information and notes, to generate on-device insights and reminders. If you choose to connect Apple Health or Apple Calendar, data access is handled through Apple's permission system.
3. No Sale or Tracking of Personal Health Data
Lumie does not sell personal data. Lumie does not use your private health logs for third-party advertising.
4. Permissions
Notifications, Calendar and Health access are optional. You can deny or revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
5. Security
Your data remains protected by iOS device security. Optional in-app lock features, including Face ID, Touch ID or PIN, provide an additional local privacy layer.
6. Data Control and Deletion
You can delete all local log data at any time from Settings. Deletion removes data from this device.
7. Compliance and Medical Disclaimer
Lumie is an educational and wellness tool and is not a medical device. Predictions and insights are estimates and should not be used as a sole method for contraception, fertility planning, diagnosis or treatment.
8. App Store Compliance
Lumie is designed to align with Apple's App Store privacy and data-minimization expectations by limiting personal data storage to the device whenever possible and requesting only the permissions needed for selected features.
